Note: The bulk collection schedule coincides with the refuse schedule except in areas with 8 CY containers. As shown above, bulk pick-up at AMR Rim/Red Hill is scheduled every Tuesday and bulk pick-up at Santa Fe is every Friday.
Bulk Refuse is described as refuse items not suitable for normal refuse disposal and that cannot be reduced in size such as discarded appliances, furniture, disassembled entertainment centers, bed frames, mattresses, couches, disassembled swing sets, carpets, carpet padding, construction waste and other similar waste. In general, materials that are unable to fit into the 95-gallon refuse container. Bulk refuse shall not include rocks, concrete, earth, corrugated cardboard, green waste, explosives, chemicals, propane tanks, batteries, tires, car parts or large metal objects weighing over 150 pounds and/or eight feet in any direction.
A few friendly reminders…
Please do not place bulk items at the dumpster or place the 95-gallon bins on the curbside more than 24 hours prior to pick up.
95-gallon bins must be returned to their storage areas the evening of pick up.
