Porter Community
Majestic trees greet families entering the Porter Community, which is located in the heart of Schofield. Porter is among the many new communities developed by the Island Palm Communities partnership, and families enjoy modern floor plans, energy-efficient homes, green open spaces, walking and biking trails, and several amenities that are a trademark of the partnership commitment to provide Service Members with great communities.
The Porter Community Center is the focal point of the neighborhood, and features a fitness facility, 25-seat movie theatre, and a large multi-purpose room with complete kitchen. Complimenting the community center is a playground, spray park, basketball court, and a newly constructed skateboard and BMX bike ramp. Community center staff hosts dozens of events at the facility, and families utilize its amenities for private functions with friends and family.
